If the show is postponed, you can retain your ticket to attend on the new, rescheduled date. If for any reason you cannot make the rescheduled date, you will also have the option to receive a credit or refund. While the theater lights remain dimmed due to the impact of COVID-19, we wanted to provide an update as we look to the future. The Parker Playhouse continues to follow the guidance of local and state officials and remain prepared to respond and adapt to evolving directives. At this time, we do not know when our theaters will be permitted to open but we are preparing for a variety of scenarios based on the evolving science and guidance of health professionals.

We have prepared a reopening plan for submission to Broward County government which outlines new procedures and protocols we will follow. The plan has been developed in accordance with CDC guidelines and in collaboration with Cleveland Clinic. While the theaters remain closed, we continue to look at all aspects of the customer experience with the goal of providing the best possible experience within the new guidelines that will include physical distancing, required masks or facial coverings, extensive cleaning and sanitizing. The health and wellbeing of our guests, staff, volunteers, artists, cast and crew remains our top priority.

The practical considerations of the performing arts industry are uniquely challenging.  National tours are not able to rehearse or make plans to go out ‘on the road’ and physical distancing requirements limit seating capacity in ways that make it difficult to viably open our theaters. These realities have created challenges for the Parker Playhouse and our peers.

While our community may be starting to reopen slowly, it’s clear that large theater venues will be among the last facilities to reopen. We continue to reschedule many of the concerts and events we had slated for the summer and the fall.  Below you’ll find the latest updates regarding the shows that have been cancelled or postponed as well as your options regarding your ticket purchase.

RESCHEDULED PERFORMANCES: If you have tickets to a performance that has been rescheduled, please keep your original tickets. All tickets will be honored on the new performance date. If you are unable to attend any of the performances listed below on the new date, you have options. Requests for refunds must be made before deadline by contacting Ticketmaster Customer Service at 800.653.8000 or by using  email or live chat online.
