January 26, 2018

Event Details

Chanticleer, “the world’s reigning male chorus” raves The New Yorker, is an ensemble of twelve male voices ranging from countertenor to bass. Best described as “an orchestra of voices,” this celebrated ensemble brings its glorious sound to Parker Playhouse in a program expressing the varied emotions felt by soldiers during times of both war and peace. The performance features traditional music by Glinka, new works by Mason Bates and John Musto, celebrated choruses from Cold Mountain and other important choral works.

This performance is funded, in part, by a grant from South Arts in partnership with the National Endowment for the Arts and the Florida Division of Cultural Affairs.

Student (under 25 years of age) discount tickets available. Tickets must be picked up at Will Call, day of show, with a valid student ID. Two (2) ticket limit per ID.
